Church arrangements during the Coronavirus epidemic
Highnam – regular pattern of worship is:
1st Sunday of every month – 9.30am Family Communion service. Childrens Sunday club meets during the service.
2nd Sunday – 9.30am Sunday Praise, a more informal service, lasting 45 minutes, especially planned with children and families in mind.
3rd Sunday – We worship together with the other 3 churches of our Benefice, so the service may be at one of our other churches – please refer to the link below.
4th Sunday – Holy Communion Service
Our services usually last for about an hour; we follow the service from a booklet and join in hymns and songs. Everyone is welcome to receive Communion if they wish, regardless of denomination or background. We always serve tea and coffee after the service, when there is time to meet others or for quiet prayer in the chapel. Children are all very welcome, and there is a special, carpeted children’s area with toys and books – as well as the opportunity for them to take part in the service. There is disabled access and toilets within the church.
There is also a short, quiet service of Morning Prayer every Monday and Wednesday at 9.30am
